Γιατί είμαι εμβολιασμένος…

ENGLISH & GREEK VERSION:

I’m fully vaccinated and no, I don’t know what’s in it, neither this vaccine, nor the ones I had as a child, nor in the Big Mac, or hot dogs, or other treatments…whether it’s for cancer, AIDS, the one for polyarthritis, or vaccines for infants or children.

Είμαι πλήρως εμβολιασμένος και ναι, δε γνωρίζω τι περιέχει, ούτε αυτό το εμβόλιο, ούτε αυτά που είχα ως παιδί, ούτε τι έχει το Big Mac, ή το χοτ-ντογκ, ή άλλες θεραπείες…είτε αφορούν τον καρκίνο, το AIDS, την πολυαρθρίτιδα, ή τα εμβόλια για βρέφη ή παιδιά.

I also don’t know what’s in Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, ink for tattoos, vaping, Botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of mobile phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.

Δεν ξέρω επίσης τι περιέχει το Ibuprofen, η παρακεταμόλη, το μελάνι στα τατουάζ, το vaping, το μπότοξ και τα fillers ή κάθε συστατικό στο σαπούνι ή το σαμπουάν μου ή ακόμα και τα αποσμητικά. Δε γνωρίζω τις μακροχρόνιες παρενέργειες της χρήσης του κινητού τηλεφώνου ή αν το εστιατόριο που έφαγα μόλις χρησιμοποιούσε ΠΡΑΓΜΑΤΙΚΑ «καθαρά» – πλυμένα τρόφιμα και αν έπλυναν τα χέρια τους.

In short, there is a lot of things I don’t know and never will…

As a child and as an adult I’ve been vaccinated for mumps, measles, polio, chickenpox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of the said diseases.

Με λίγα λόγια, υπάρχουν πολλά πράγματα που δε γνωρίζω και δε θα μάθω ποτέ…

Ως παιδί και ως ενήλικος έχω εμβολιαστεί για παρωτίτιδα, ιλαρά, πολιομυελίτιδα, ανεμοβλογιά και πολλές άλλες ασθένειες. Οι γονείς μου και εγώ εμπιστευτήκαμε την επιστήμη και δε χρειάστηκε ποτέ να υποφέρουμε ή να μεταδώσουμε κάποια από τις προαναφερόμενες ασθένειες.

I’m vaccinated, not to please the government but:

~ To not die from Covid-19.

~ To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.

~ To hug my loved ones.

~ To go on holidays.

~ To actually live.

~For Covid-19 to be an old memory.

Είμαι εμβολιασμένος, όχι για να ευχαριστήσω την κυβέρνηση αλλά:

* Για να μην πεθάνω από τον κορονοϊό (Covid-19).

* Για να ΜΗΝ «κρατήσω» ένα κρεβάτι νοσοκομείου αν αρρωστήσω.

* Για να αγκαλιάζω τους αγαπημένους μου.

* Για να πηγαίνω διακοπές.

* Για να ζω πραγματικά.

* Για να γίνει ο κορονοϊός (Covid-19) μια ανάμνηση.
