Τι είναι το επίθετο; What is the adjective?

The adjective is the word that describes the noun. Το επίθετο είναι η λέξη που περιγράφει το ουσιαστικό.

Often, the adjective is before the noun it describes. Συνήθως το επίθετο είναι πριν από το ουσιαστικό που περιγράφει.

It has three genders: masculine, feminine, neuter.

Έχει τρία γένη: αρσενικό, θηλυκό, ουδέτερο.

article + adjective + noun at the same gender, number and case άρθρο + επίθετο + ουσιαστικό σε ίδιο γένος, αριθμό και πτώση

	endings καταλήξεις	επίθετα	adjectives
1.	-ος,-η,-ο	καλός, καλή, καλό	good
2.	-ος,-α,-ο	ωραίος, ωραία, ωραίο	nice
3.	ός,-ή/-ιά,-ό	κακός, κακή/κακιά, κακό	bad
4.	-ός, -ιά,-ό	γλυκός, γλυκιά, γλυκό	sweet
5.	-υς,-ιά,-ί	πλατύς, πλατιά, πλατύ	wide

endings	masculine	feminine	neuter
-ος,-α,-ο	ωραίος (nice, beautiful), άγριος (wild), όρθιος (standing), γαλάζιος (light blue), αιώνιος (eternal), ασημένιος (silver), όμοιος (same)	ωραία	ωραίο
