In the beginning, Paul was a Pharisee. Στην αρχή ο Παύλος ήταν Φαρισαίος.

He never belonged to Jesus’ 12 Disciples cycle. Δεν ανήκε ποτέ στον κύκλο των 12 δώδεκα Αποστόλων – Μαθητών του Ιησού.

He participated in the persecution of early disciples of Jesus. Συμμετείχε στον διωγμό των πρώτων ακόλουθων του Ιησού.

His first name was Saoul – Savlos. Το πρώτο του όνομα ήταν Σαούλ – Σαύλος.

He spread Christianism more than anybody else and for this reason he was named “Equal-to-the-Apostles” and “Apostle of the Nations”. Διέδωσε τον Χριστιανισμό περισσότερο από οποιονδήποτε άλλο και γι’ αυτό τον λόγο ονομάστηκε “Ισαπόστολος” και “Απόστολος των Εθνών”.

He died in Rome, after he was tortured, at the order of Emperor Nero in 62-64. Πέθανε στη Ρώμη, αφού βασανίστηκε, μετά την εντολή του αυτοκράτορα Νέρωνα μεταξύ του 62 και 64 μ.Χ.
